Starting something new always brings a mix of excitement and curiosity. Many years ago, I started a Christian blog called The Robe, a nickname given to me by a former pastor and inspired by the movie of the same name. However, the blog languished as I returned to school to earn my Master of Divinity degree from Regent University. With the rigors of my coursework, I no longer had time to continue to write my blog. Since graduating, I have focused mainly on writing books that seek to merge scholarship with reflection.
However, I wanted a place where I could not only highlight my books and other writings but also connect with my readers. Writing can easily become a one-way street where the author writes, and the reader reads. Writing can also be a very lonely enterprise; years spent researching and writing for a readership that often remains unknown, unseen, and unheard. Today, I am thrilled to welcome you to my new site, a space for sharing ideas, stories, and insights that matter. This site marks the beginning of a journey, one that I hope will grow and evolve with your participation and feedback.
Launching a new website is more than just putting pages online. It’s about building a community, creating a place where information flows freely, and where connections can spark new opportunities. Whether you are here to learn, explore, or simply browse, this site is designed with you in mind.

Final Thoughts
Starting this site is a step into the unknown, but it is also a chance to create something meaningful and lasting. I invite you to explore, engage, and grow with me on this journey.
Thank you for being here at the start. Together, we can build a space that informs, inspires, and connects.
Let’s begin this adventure.

I remember having deep discussions with you, Corinne, and my husband Tom. You were a smart guy and a thoughtful thinker back then. I’m interested to see how you’ve grown and how your life has evolved since then. Tom and I write books, so I do know a little of the challenges, even though we’re self-published. Count me in!
